Welcome to Kinver Methodist Church. We are a welcoming community with Jesus at the centre. We aim to worship Him together and draw others to love and follow Him.
Kinver is a large village in South Staffordshire, bordered by Shropshire, Worcestershire and the West Midlands conurbation. Over 7,000 people live in the village which is famous for the Holy Austin Rock Houses and Kinver Edge, both of which are owned by The National Trust.
The Church itself is located at the Potters Cross end of Kinver Village, within easy walking distance of the High Street and Kinver Edge.

Charitable Giving: Harvest of Hope Appeal 2025
During October, we will be raising funds for Christian Aid’s Harvest Appeal. The Harvest of Hope Appeal is supporting farmers in Sierra Leone whose crops have been devastated by climate change.
Farmers in Sierra Leone have been forced to take out loans to invest in their farms, but the failure of their crops has made it difficult to repay them, leaving the farmers struggling to make ends meet.
Many farmers have joined an initiative by Christian Aid’s partner WoNES to create a Village Savings and Loan Association (VSLA) in their community. Village Savings and Loan Associations empower farmers (many of whom are women) to take back control of their finances, their farms and their future. VSLAs enable their members to offer and manage low-interest loans as a collective.
These communities still face challenges as the impact of the climate crisis grows. But by working with WoNES and developing the VSLA, many farmers now have more options for the future.
During October you can support the Harvest of Hope Appeal through the envelopes in church, or you can donate at any time via the Christian Aid website.
